From the first baseball team in 1860, to the championship teams led by former Brooklyn Robins (Dodgers) Del Bissonette, to the teams in the 1950’s coached by the wisdom of Ben Meyers, Kents Hill has a long tradition of success in its baseball program.
Each spring, the program focuses on a few simple goals to help each player develop and reach their full potential on the diamond. We work on the development of our athletes fundamental tools and focus on learning and responding to game situations each day during practice. Our hope is that we will build our players confidence and skill level to the point where they can compete with the kind of relaxed-intensity that is crucial to success in baseball, while always maintaining a respect for the game and their opponents.
Over the years, Kents Hill baseball has had student-athletes go on to play and find success at both the Division I and III levels.
