The Kents Hill Girls Lacrosse program focuses on teaching and developing fundamental skills essential for success as a player. The groundwork starts with the focus on fundamental skills for new players to learn and veteran players to fine tune and improve upon. Basics are key to all sports as they are necessary in order to progress to group drills and perform game situations. The program aims to teach a variety of game situations, defense, offense, and transition play for the team to carry over to our games. While success is an ultimate goal, we are determined to provide a positive experience for all players. Everyone on the field is expected to strive for excellence, whether in practice or in games, and to treat each other and opponents with the highest degree of sportsmanship, effort and respect.
Kents Hill competes in the MAISAD League, in addition to a number of non-conference games from NEPSAC schools to public high schools.
