The Kents Hill School Girls Basketball Team competes in the Class C South Division of the Maine Principles Association (MPA), which is composed of independent and public schools from around the state of Maine. With Varsity and Junior Varsity offerings, players of all skill levels have a chance to be a part of the program, improve their individual abilities, and learn the essentials of teamwork.
The Huskies typically play an 18-23 game schedule against MPA and non-league NEPSAC opponents. Since joining the MPA, Kents Hill has earned MPA Tournament berths in 2004, 2005, 2006, 2010, and 2014. The 2014 team completed one of the best seasons in school history, finishing with an overall record of 14-5 that included a trip to the Western Maine Class C Quarterfinals in the Augusta Civic Center. Each season opens with the Aleigh Mills Preseason Tournament, which is hosted at Kents Hill School, and the Huskies claimed the trophy during the 2013-2014 season behind the play of Tournament MVP Sara Grenier (’14).
