A graduate of Kents Hill School and the University of Maine, Matt Crane began his career at Kents Hill in 1995 in the math department and in communications, where he edited and designed Kents Hill Today Magazine. He was the varsity baseball coach and assistant coach for football. He soon shifted to the admissions office, where he became director on 1999 until his departure in 2003. Following a year completing his masters in Educational Leadership from Tufts University, Matt served for two years as the Director of Admissions at Saint Mary’s School in Raleigh, NC.
Matt married Mary Sheridan in 2004 and their son, Finn, was born in 2005 while they were in North Carolina. Mary, a local veterinarian, purchased Winthrop Veterinary Hospital in 2006 and Matt returned to Kents Hill assuming the Role of Director of Advancement.

A native Mainer, Leanne vividly recalls driving past Kents Hill’s iconic bell tower on weekend ski trips to Sugarloaf as a child and later, cheering for her younger brother from the sidelines of the baseball field.
Leanne attended the University of Miami where she majored in Speech Communication and Psychology. Following graduation, she worked in Washington, D.C. for a period of time before returning to Maine to work in student affairs at Colby College. During that time, she completed her master’s degree in education at the University of Maine.
Leanne joined Kents Hill School in 2004, serving as the Director of Alumni and Parent Relations for three years before moving into the College Counseling Office where she was named Director in 2013. She is delighted that in her role as Director of Admissions she has the opportunity to share her love and knowledge of the School with new families and prospective students.
When she’s not in the office, Leanne can be found at her daughters’ sporting events, dance recitals, and various school activities. She and her family live on campus in Morse House.

Senior Associate Director of Admissions University of Maine, B.S.
Alison joined Kents Hill School in 2007 as a member of the Business Office where she served as Business Office and Human Resources Manager prior to joining the Admissions team as Director of Financial Aid and Associate Director of Admissions. Alison holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Maine. She also serves as a coach of the Girls Varsity Soccer team.
Alison is also a proud parent of Kents Hill graduate, Nathan, class of 2014. She and her husband, Todd have four children and live in Wayne. Alison enjoys being active, hiking, biking, yoga, playing competitive volleyball, and enjoying time on the beautiful lakes Maine has to offer.
Larry rejoined the Kents Hill School Admissions Office in 2018 as an Associate Director of Admissions and Head Coach for the Boys’ Varsity Ice Hockey team. Prior to Kents Hill, he worked at the Governor’s Academy in Byfield, MA, as the Associate Director of Admissions and coached the Boys’ Varsity Ice Hockey program competing in the Keller Division in the Independent School League. In his first stint at Kents Hill, Larry was the Boys' Varsity Ice Hockey coach for ten years, guiding his team to four post-season appearances, took his team to the 2013 championship finals, and won the New England Prep School Championship in 2008.
Larry got his start in private school coaching at North Yarmouth Academy, serving three seasons as the Head Boys JV Ice Hockey coach and Varsity Assistant Coach. In his time as a head coach he has recruited and developed players who have gone on to compete at the NCAA Divisions I, II, and III levels as well as professional hockey. Larry is USA Hockey Level 5 certified and is an evaluator for the Southeast District National Tryout Camp and an evaluator and coach in the New England District. Other positions he has held while working in private schools include Athletic Director, Director of Financial Aid, Associate Director of Advancement, math teacher, Head Boys' and Girls' Varsity Lacrosse Coach, dorm parent, and student advisor.
Larry is a 1990 graduate of Norwich University where he played ice hockey and lacrosse, and served in the United States Navy as a commissioned officer. Larry is married to Tiffany Cockrell and has three children, Jake, Thaney, and Jared, all graduates of Kents Hill School.
Dan joined the Kents Hill community in 2015 along with his family and worked in the Alfond Athletics Center helping run and maintain the facility. The summer of 2016 he moved into the Admissions Department as Assistant Director, enjoying the opportunity to welcome and get to know prospective students and their families, as well as working as an adviser to numerous students.
A native to Maine and a graduate of University of Maine Augusta, Dan enjoys spending time outdoors with his family experiencing all that each amazing season has to offer. Spring hikes, summer trips to the beach, fall trips to local orchards and winters spent on the “hill” skiing and snowboarding are just a few of the amazing adventures!
Dan loves being on and around the ocean, flying with the Civil Air Patrol as well as attending as many of his kids sporting events as possible. He and his wife, Erica, and kids Grace, Cody and Trevor all live on campus in Reed Hall.

Linda joined Kents Hill School in June 2013 as Admissions Office Manager. In addition to overseeing office operations, she coordinates the Admissions Office’s systems integrations, performs database management, and manages I-20 documentation for international students.
Linda and her husband Rick live in Augusta. Outside of school, Linda enjoys gardening, cooking, kayaking, snowshoeing, and basket weaving.
