Huskies take down NYA on the road

The Kents Hill School Boys JV Ice Hockey Team traveled to North Yarmouth Academy for a tilt with the Panthers--Kents Hill's last road game of the season--and skated away with a 3-1 victory. Marc Andre '21 opened the scoring late in the first period as he tucked home a breakaway shorthanded goal. Unfortunately, the Panthers knotted the score with a powerplay goal just seconds later. Kents Hill overcame some penalty trouble to begin the second period, and they rode that momentum to two goals in 38 seconds as Edouard Perron '20 tallied the first on a slapshot that took two ricochets before finding the back of the net, and Tucker Nussinow notched the second. Both were unassisted efforts. The Huskies' netminder, Carson Palmer '23, turned aside 12 North Yarmouth Academy shots. Kents Hill has just one game remaining on their schedule: the newly-traditional Winter Carnival home game against the Hebron Academy Lumberjacks on Wednesday, January 26 at 3 PM.
