Huskies come up short at Exeter

The Kents Hill School Boys JV Ice Hockey Team traveled to Phillips Exeter Academy on Saturday afternoon and skated away with a 6-1 defeat after an Exeter four-goal second period helped put the game out of reach. Mark Andre '21 recorded the lone Husky goal after an Allen Weiss '22 breakout pass found Austin Weiss '23 who skated through a check and found Andre '21 who slotted a near-post shot past the Exeter netminder. Unfortunately, the lone goal wasn't enough. Carson Palmer '23 made 27 stops in the Husky cage and Kents Hill had good efforts from Brad Maki '20, Edouard Perron '20, and Tucker Nussinow '20, among others. The Huskies will hit the ice on Monday, February 10 for a 5:50 PM puck drop against Lewiston High School's JV team.
