"Project Wayfinder" Introduced as Cornerstone of Sophomore Class Experience

Kents Hill School is implementing Project Wayfinder, a year-long curriculum from Stanford University's that explores purpose and potential, as a cornerstone of the Sophomore Class experience. Throughout the year, eight faculty members trained at Brown University will guide students through a number of individual and shared activities that tap into character, values, skills, and reflection. The program will take advantage of our newly created "H-Block," a dedicated time during the weekly academic schedule for special projects and initiatives.
"At Kents Hill School we believe in educating the whole person with mindfulness and joy," said Babs Wheelden, Dean of Faculty and trained Project Wayfinder facilitator. "We are excited to integrate the concepts of purpose, intention, and potential into our Sophomore curriculum and beyond."
