On Monday, November 17, the Kents Hill School community gathered in the Dining Commons to honor our fall student-athletes. The evening celebrated more than results and records—it highlighted the hard work, resilience, and teamwork that defined each program this season.
Girls Varsity Soccer
The girls varsity soccer team had a tremendous season, finding consistent success on the pitch. After finishing second in MAISAD regular-season play, they brought the MAISAD Tournament trophy back to the Hill with an outstanding postseason run. The team also earned a spot in the NEPSAC Tournament, advancing to the semifinals where they battled hard in a tough matchup against Tilton. Congratulations to all on an exceptional season!

Boys Varsity Soccer
This squad battled from start to finish, showing grit, determination, and toughness every step of the way. Their final record doesn’t reflect the true success of the season, as they continued to compete and push forward despite significant adversity. Every athlete made substantial improvements, and the team should be proud of the growth and resilience they demonstrated throughout the year. We are looking forward to seeing how the team continues to build following this season.

Boys JV Soccer
Despite not playing any official games this season, the boys JV soccer team embraced a fun, development-focused fall. They enjoyed their time together on BB Field, building skills, supporting one another, and simply getting better at the game.

Varsity Field Hockey
What a season it was for field hockey. The team finished first in the regular season, captured the MAISAD Tournament title, and—for just the second time in school history—earned a bid to the NEPSAC Tournament. We are incredibly proud of these athletes and excited to see how this program continues to grow in the years ahead.

Mountain Biking
Mountain biking had an awesome season, blending strong leadership from returners with great energy from new team members. The squad found consistent success on the trails, earning individual wins and high placements throughout the fall. Their biggest accomplishment came at championships, where they finished third overall in the Eastern Division. The future is bright for this dedicated and talented group.

Varsity Cross Country
Varsity cross country had an outstanding season despite losing key leaders from last year. While individual runners earned victories and high placements, the true highlight was the team’s success. The girls captured the MAISAD title for the second consecutive year and finished fourth at NEPSTA’s, while the boys placed third in MAISAD and showed consistent growth all season. We’re excited to see this team’s success continue to blossom in the years ahead.
