I am a Prospective: Student Parent

Jonathan Edwards Will Perform on May 30

The Aleigh Mills Concert Series is pleased to announce our next performance: Jonathan Edwards. Four decades into a stellar career of uncompromising musical integrity, Jonathan Edwards simply delivers songs of passion, insight, and humor, all rendered in that pure and powerful tenor which has only grown sweeter with age. Jonathan’s highly respected repertoire includes such classics as “Honky Tonk Stardust Cowboy,” “Sometimes,” “One Day Closer,” “Don’t Cry Blue,” “Emma,”  “Everybody Knows Her,” “Athens County,” and everyone’s favorite ode to putting a good buzz on, “Shanty.”  And then, of course, there’s the anthemic “Sunshine (Go Away Today)”.

Aleigh Mills Concert Series

Established in 2010 in memory of Aleigh Mills, Class of 2006, who tragically lost her life in 2007, the Aleigh Mills Concert Series supports the funding of a scholarship in her name at Kents Hill School. The profits from each concert help build a fund to support a student of financial need at Kents Hill.

The Concert Series has been blessed with great shows including Shemekia Copeland, the Arlo Guthrie Band, Judy Collins, Greg Brown, Shawn Colvin, Nanci Griffith, Asleep at the Wheel, Tom Rush and Marcia Ball. We are excited about the great shows coming in the future and appreciate the loyal support of our guests.

Judy Collins will be in concert at the Bodman Performing Arts Center on Saturday, November 21, 2015.
