World Class Facilities

Our state-of-the-art facilities feature a private skiing and snowboarding facility, miles of trails for mountain biking and cross country running, one of the largest contiguous turf complexes in New England, and the Harold & Ted Alfond Athletics Center which features an NHL-size ice hockey rink.

Harold & Ted Alfond Athletics Center

The Alfond Athletics Center is the hub of athletic life on campus. It features The Rist and Joy Bonnefond Ice Arena, an NHL-size ice surface with bleacher seating for 196; a basketball court, two practice courts, or two volleyball courts with bleacher seating for 206; fitness center; conference room; Athletic Training room; and nine locker rooms. 

Ted Alfond & John Huard Turf Fields

One of the largest contiguous turf complexes in New England, The Ted Alfond & John Huard Turf Fields consist of two full-sized fields for soccer, field hockey, and lacrosse along with full baseball and softball diamonds.

Joanne & Dick O'Connor Alpine Training Center

Just steps from dorms and classrooms, the Alpine Training Center is a private slope for skiing and snowboarding with state-of-the-art grooming and snowmaking. Think corduroy all the time, every time. It's the center of coaching and training for our USSA and MAISAD alpine racing teams, the Division I Colby College alpine racing team, and local public schools.

Belgrade Lakes Golf Club

Our co-ed Varsity Golf team practices at Belgrade Lakes Golf Club in nearby Belgrade, Maine. The course serves as their home course during the season. Belgrade Lakes Golf Club was ranked in the Top 100 Greatest Public Courses by Golf Digest in 2018.

Ballard Farms

Our Equestrian program is run nearby in Sidney, Maine at Ballard Farms. Ruth Ballard is the owner and instructor, and offers years of experience and knowledge in equestrian world. Students ride English and Western-trained safe horses within indoor and outdoor rings.
