Early Decision is ideal for students who:

• Know that Kents Hill is their #1 choice
• Want to simplify the admissions process and get an early answer
• Are ready to enroll if accepted

If you’re all in on Kents Hill—this is your path!

• Apply by: Monday, December 15, 2025
• Get your decision: Thursday, January 15, 2026
• Enroll by: Thursday, February 5th (includes signing your contract and submitting a tuition deposit)

“Binding” means that if you’re admitted through Early Decision, you’re agreeing to:

• Enroll at Kents Hill
• Withdraw any other school applications

This is why Early Decision is best for students who are confident that Kents Hill is the right place for them.

If you have a sibling at Kents Hill or your parent/guardian is an alum, you’re considered a legacy applicant—and that’s something we celebrate!

Many sibling and legacy families choose Early Decision because they already know and love Kents Hill. If you're excited to continue that tradition, Early Decision is a great way to show your commitment.

Maine's Town Tuition Program is the second oldest school choice program in the nation, but many people do not know it exists. If your sending town does not have a public high school, you may be eligible to receive an automatic $15,000 discount on your Kents Hill tuition.

You can apply to other schools through Regular Decision, but you may only apply Early Decision to one school. If you’re accepted by Kents Hill through Early Decision, you're expected to:

• Withdraw applications to other schools
• Submit your enrollment contract and deposit to Kents Hill
