Dirigo Scholar Program
Building Maine’s Future Through Excellence in Education

Dirigo, meaning “I lead,” is Maine’s state motto—a powerful nod to leadership, service, and purpose.
What is the Dirigo Scholar Program?
At Kents Hill School, we believe in strengthening Maine by partnering with the people and organizations that lead it. We are seeking to build relationships with organizations that want to collaborate with us to recruit and retain top talent, fostering growth across the state.
Rooted in Maine’s state motto, Dirigo, this program celebrates the leadership, values, and impact of Maine-based organizations and builds a unique partnership to educate the next generation of Maine leaders and change makers.
Children of partner-organization employees are eligible for a $10,000 renewable scholarship, reflecting their family’s role as ambassadors in expanding learning opportunities in Maine and attracting more Maine students to Kents Hill.

- Partnership-driven learning that connects students with Maine industries.
