We first wish to thank everyone who gave to the Kents Hill 2007-2008 Annual Fund this year! You joined with other Kents Hill friends in your support and love of the School to take us beyond our goal! Everything you do is for the benefit of our students – the next generation of Kents Hill graduates who will make a difference.

Essential Support

The Annual Fund supports the core functions of Kents Hill School and is comprised of donors who pledge their support by making annual, unrestricted gifts. These gifts supplement income from tuition and endowment and since tuition income only covers 80% of operating expenses, every gift is an essential component of the financial health of the School.

The Annual Fund enables the School to maintain its role as an excellent learning environment and helps to cover costs such as professional development conferences for faculty; a trip to the state Model United Nations Conference so our students can defend their title; bus rental and driver so coaches do not have to drive more than two hours to a contest; technology upgrades throughout campus; and health care for faculty and staff.

Gifts of All Sizes

Gifts of all sizes are highly valued and range from $1 to $25,000. Participation by everyone in the Kents Hill family is important and is a valuable measure of pride in the School. In addition, the percentage of alumni, parents and faculty who make annual gifts is a factor in the financial support that Kents Hill receives from foundations and corporations.

Make Your Gift or Pledge Today!

We hope you will show your support for the 2008-2009 Annual Fund by making your gift today; the School will put your gift to good use right now. If you wish to give later in the fiscal year, which runs through June 30, we urge you to make a pledge today; your pledge helps us better plan for the rest of the year and pledge reminders will be sent monthly. And remember, many employers offer matching gifts. Please ask your human resources department for a matching gift form, fill it out, and send it along to Kents Hill School when you make your gift. Your gift could be doubled or even tripled!
