On Saturday, Kents Hill will host rival Hebron Academy for two important games. Boys' varsity soccer will be playing for the MAISAD championship title. The two teams only met once this season, with Kents Hill coming out on top 2-1 in a hard fought victory on Hebron soil. The Huskies are looking for a win that will both earn the team the MAISAD title and give them momentum as they look forward to a possible NEPSAC playoff appearance next week.
The varsity football team will be playing Hebron for the Headmasters Chair, a tradition and rivalry that leads to a championship atmosphere every year. Hebron has had the chair since last fall when they defeated Kents Hill, and the Huskies would love to see it back in Mr. Bonnefond’s office after the game on Saturday afternoon.
Henry Wooster, father of football player Cameron Wooster ‘12, sent a special picture message from his office at the U.S. Embassy in Baghdad, Iraq, to let Cameron and all of the other athletes know that they are thinking of them and wishing them good luck tomorrow against rival Hebron.
