“We played for fun, not to win. We became friends over the years at Kents Hill, each of us from different countries, and we wanted to do something memorable together before we graduated and went our different ways. Daisuke came up with the idea, and worked to make it happen, from making our uniforms to organizing our transport. Our team worked together, fought together, lost and won together, protected each other and, together, we made the team strong. This team, these friendships, this opportunity could only happen because of what Kents Hill stands for: diversity, leadership, sportsmanship and friendship. We will be friends forever.”
